Go to the Gmail login page and enter your email ID.
After entering your email ID, click on the option Forgot your password.

A verification code will now be sent to your alternate email ID.

You will now be directed to the password recovery page where you can enter your new password and confirm it and then click on the "Finish" button.

Google account recovery using the phone number If you don't have a recovery email address for your Google account, don't worry, Google offers another way to recover your Gmail account.
